We, the citizens, are often faced with issues of national interest, about which we are starved of unbiased information source. The government takes policy decisions about these issues, but due to lack of unbiased information and data, we are left wondering about the likely impact of the decisions.

"Amra Jante Chai" is an initiative of Jagoree to bring into focus the questions that citizens have surrounding various issues of national interest, and also try to gather possible responses to those questions from various points of views, including those of the government. The approach that Jagoree takes to achieve this goal may be summed up in the following way:

  • Article and pictures of Roundtable 1 (Vision from New Generation Business Leaders)
• Interviews of relevant experts representing different view-points
• Continually updating webpage dedicated to the issue that contains the following
  • Information base with citizen's common questions and responses from different quarters
  • Links to Jagoree's own research findings on the issue
  • Links to relevant research findings and publications by other organizations or individuals
  • Links to newspaper articles and op-eds
  • Opinion polls
